SPIDERMAN CAKE

So my latest client had a five year old son who was excited about his upcoming birthday party. The party was going to be small, a few friends his age, and it was going to be hosted at their house. Over all, they wanted a cake that would A)showcase his favorite obsession, Spiderman! B)something that was inexpensive and not too fussy on size or design. As the main points were more than clear, I only needed to do a little researching on how to draw a passable Spidey, then spent a good remainder of the morning fussing over whether or not the web-lines were black enough...

I present to you the end result.

Hello Kitty Cake

For my daughter's 15th birthday she wanted a Hello Kitty Cake, however, she didn't want it to be too "cutesy" like the cakes she'd seen in store and on the internet. She wanted it to be a little classy and grown up.

This is what I came up with...

The lily flower was an added on bonus!
